2-Phenoxyethanol (2pe) has a number of negative effects on living beings. Two that stand out immediately are disturbance of the regulation of potassium transfer across cell membranes and disruption of DNA.
I have been studying and considering the nature of membranes up and down the levels of biological organization in the HVI newsletter over the past few months. While there are many vaccine injured people who have fully recovered, many have not, despite doing all the same treatments. This has pushed us out into new and very theoretical territory in search of reasons and purposes.
Now I am turning my attention back to the established science.
The first thing that pops up is a study that mentions how 2pe and other chemicals like it damage proteins, causing them to lose stability and become sticky.
This helps to explain why cell membranes function poorly when so affected.
If we imagine a cell membrane, what do we see? Two fields of phospholipids inverted and laid on each other, permeated by proteins with one end sticking out into the intercellular fluid and another end sticking in to the intracellular matrix.
If we consider the movement of potassium back and forth through those proteins, into and out of the cell to help maintain membrane integrity and effective communication between the inside of the cell and the outside of the cell, we have some image of our being at a cellular level.
Next, imagine those proteins weakened to the point that they don't collapse, but they do wilt, and can only be supported by leaning on others. What is more, communication between the inside and the outside is hampered as signals have to pass through these wilted structures as they are being muddled by the form and information passing through the other wilted structures that are leaning together for mutual support.
Now expand the image of those same processes to the organism level, to the whole human. What does it look like?
